Afya1 Academy
This page explains exactly what you receive when you complete an Afya1 Academy course, and what you do not. We would rather be clear than impressive.
Most Afya1 Academy courses issue a certificate of completion. It confirms that you attended the course and completed what it asked of you, including any assessment the course page described.
It is an Afya1 document. It is not a regulator approval, it is not a licence, and it does not by itself satisfy any professional registration requirement. If an employer or a professional council needs something specific, check with them before you rely on it.
Some courses hold CPD accreditation from a recognised body. Where that is the case and an administrator has verified the current evidence, the course page states the approving body, the profession it covers, the approved points, the approval reference and the validity dates.
We never publish CPD points on the strength of a course title, a trainer’s qualifications, or a submission we have not checked. A course with no verified accreditation shows no points, and says why.
Completion certificate only. This course does not represent regulator approval or a professional licence.
Accreditation evidence has been submitted and is awaiting review. No CPD points are recognised at this time.
Accreditation details require further evidence before they can be confirmed.
Accreditation has been verified against current evidence held by Afya1 Digital Health.
Approvals have validity dates and can be withdrawn. When that happens we change the course’s status rather than leaving a stale claim in place. If you checked a course some time ago and you are relying on its CPD status for something, confirm with us first.
